Two Bulldogs Honored at Partners in Education Salute

Richland Community College, in conjunction with WSOY 1340 sponsored the annual Partners in Education Salute luncheon for 2017 at Richland on Monday. The event was emceed by WAND’s Megan O’Dell and featured lunch from the Culinary Art Institute. Hannah Lybarger of Eisenhower High School was recognized as the Outstanding Educator for the year. Baby Talk was the Outstanding Business Partner for 2016 and the late Dave Cooper was named as the Partners’ Tribute Honoree. Cooper was named as the recipient for his continued partnership with schools through his coffee company Marquis Beverage.

Top students and their parents were acknowledged at the event in front of the 200 people in attendance. Among them were St. Teresa’s very own seniors; Jason Duncan and Haley Vemmer. Principal Larry Daly and other friends and family were in attendance.

Congratulations to Jason and Haley on their awards and thank you to Richland Community College, WSOY, Marquis Beverage, Baby TALK, Consociate, Herald & Review, and the Heartland Technical Academy for a wonderful event.
