Karla Miller has been named Director of Advancement for St. Teresa High School. She replaces Lindsey Walters, who has taken another position at Decatur Industrial Electric.
Dr. Ken Hendriksen, Principal/CEO at St. Teresa stated “Karla is well-known and respected throughout the Decatur community and will make a great addition to our staff. She will originate ideas, plan, coordinate, promote, evaluate and support many exciting initiatives for St. Teresa High School.”
Ms. Miller comes to St. Teresa with executive-level experience in corporate communications, advertising and public relations. “I’m very excited to bring my skills and knowledge to advance St. Teresa’s mission,” said Ms. Miller.
Ms. Miller graduated from Millikin University in 1988, and held various communications and public relations positions at ADM. She is the founder and Co-chair of the Rodney T. Miller Lakeside Triathlon, and has served on numerous boards throughout the community. Her two sons, Daley and Zach attend St. Teresa.
