Theme for the week and the dance: “A Twist in Time”

Monday, October 7—“Mythology Monday”

Students may wear clothing that depicts their favorite mythological character.  All rules of decency and appropriateness apply.  Mr. Daly will send home students not dressed appropriately.

Tuesday, October 8—“World War II Swing”

Students may wear clothing that depicts the World War II and “swing” era of the 1940’s. EARLY DISMISSAL at 11:00 AM

Wednesday, October 9—“Our Professional Future Day”

Students may wear clothing that depicts their future profession.  Rules of Dress Up Dress Code apply.  Clothing must be decent and appropriate. FREE LUNCH TODAY, courtesy of Student Council.

“Powder Buff Games” at 6:30 p.m.– Announcement of Court, Men’s, Women’s, and Faculty Volleyball games.

Thursday, October 10—“Famous Historical Character Twin Day”

Students may wear clothing that depicts their favorite historical character, and prizes will be awarded to best dressed twins, triplets, etc., during lunch hour.

Friday, October 11—“Spirit Day”

Students may wear “spirit day dress code” clothing, appropriate according to the handbook guidelines.

STUDENT ASSEMBLY— 1 p.m.  Begins with groundbreaking ceremony for the new wing.

Games: “ Highland Stone Toss” (dodgeball); “Minute to Win It;” “Air Jousting Inflatable,” “Chariot Races” (scooter boards); and “Tron Toss” (frisbees); Mr./Ms. Bulldog Contest (powdered wig challenge, dance era competition, Charles Dickens gruel, “The Mummy Strikes,” and “The Wives of Henry VIII”)

Saturday, October 12—Homecoming Dance in the gymnasium  7 p.m. to 10 p.m.
