Freshmen Putting Soccer Teams on the Map

The St. Teresa Soccer Teams are part of a youth movement in Decatur athletics. There are a combined eighteen members of the Class of 2019 that are on the boys and girls soccer teams. Of the twenty-two girls on the soccer team, nine are freshman, all of which have participated in the MidState Soccer Club programs growing up. The Decatur Herald & Review’s Alex McNamee wrote a featured story about the freshman at St. Teresa. The growth of Soccer in Decatur is starting to be apparent, especially at St. Teresa.
