FBLA Students Excel at State Competition

Congratulations to the St. Teresa Future Business Leaders of America members who did an outstanding job at the State Leadership Conference this weekend. There were over eighty other schools in attendance and over 1,500 students competing. Five out of the six members that attended finished in the Top Ten.

Here are the results: Connor Reardon, First Place, in Accounting I. He earned scholarship money and an opportunity to compete at the National Leadership Conference this summer in Atlanta, Georgia. Lauryn Pugh, Sixth Place, in Introduction to Business Communications. Mary Shupenus, Sixth Place, in Public Speaking I. Kierney Sprague, Eighth Place, in Electronic Career Portfolio. Charlie Smith, Ninth Place, FBLA Principles and Procedures. Honorable Mention to Jenny Birschbach who finished in the top twenty for Business Law.
