Excellent Weekend in Bulldog Athletics

Friday the Girls Track and Field Team took 1st in the Shelbyville Girls Invitational. The team was led by the following event winners: Kite’ Oladipupo in long jump, DaeLin Switzer in high jump, Brianna Niebrugge in triple jump, Kelsey Cleary in the 3200m run, Lauren Evelti in the 400m dash and the 4x100m relay team of Kite’, Brianna, DaeLin and Vanessa Nutakor.

Friday at the ALAH Invite the Boys Track and Field Team placed 6th out of 13 teams. Jacardia Wright took 1st in Long Jump, Jackson Stewart took 2nd in the 3200 with Gabe Olson taking 4th. Brady Moore took 3rd in Shotput, and Chris Hein took 3rd in discus. Our 4×100 got 4th and 4×200 got 4th as well.

Saturday, the Girls Softball Team won their game 23 to 13 against Danville in 5 innings.
